My name is Cadence. I am a singer/songwriter/rapper and I also model (managing, styling, and coming up with photo concepts for many of my pictures) and collaborate on making some of the instrumentals I use for my songs. I hear instrumentals in my head, so in the future, I will become proficient enough with the programs to make my own instrumentals independently. Currently, my main focus is developing myself as a lyricist, recording artist, and performer. As a writer, I write many different genres of music. The songs I write are about anything from emotional issues, to clever wordplay rap or everyday life, to issues I see in the world that I want others to think about. As an artist, I will be writing songs for myself in the genres of rap, pop, dub step,& R&B. I believe music has tremendous power, as it can directly influence listeners’ thoughts and emotions and can reach masses of people at a time.
