Hello Artsts! Just wanted to mention a few things...
Our members continue to be ambitious and enthusiastic about all things Artst. If you haven't spent much time in the forum, you should really click over there and check it out. The latest news is the ARTST MIXTAPE, which is in the early planning stages right now. Get in on it while you can!
Also, we've had a few people ask about the featured artwork on the homepage. We mentioned this way back in the Heywire days, but it's worth mentioning again...
Artwork is considered for homepage featuring if:
- we like it.
- it's tall.
(By "tall" we mean it's 600-800 pixels high, after it's been scaled down to 354 pixels wide.)
Those are the main things that'll get something considered for the featured area on the homepage. There's SO much great work on here that just won't work in that spot. Either because it's not tall enough, or because it doesn't work when the ARTST logo bisects it near the top of the image. So if you haven't been featured, it's not necessarily a reflection of your work. It may just be that it doesn't fit in that space very well!
