Canadian artist J Kova specializes in intricately detailed portraits of actors, musicians and other cool people. One of her favorite subjects seems to be Hip Hop musicians, though. In fact, she has a series of portraits she's spent the past year working on called "Hip Hop Legends."
Why Hip-hop? To quote the artist herself: "The musicians I chose to draw for the series have left a legacy for our younger generation, and they are indeed big shoes to fill. They have brought to the table fresh ideas, clever wordplay, and intoxicating sounds."
